David Keeling1931 - 2017It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Dave Keeling. David developed Parkinson's disease a few years ago - then a rarer form of dementia - and had been in a home for the past three years. He died sometime during the Easter weekend - aged 85. David had been member since 1990 and a life member since 2000. He was a great mentor to many and and inspiration to all. David still holds 17 club records from age 60+ to 70+. He leaves behind his wife Ann, five children and several grandchildren - many of them runners. He was featured in an article in Today's Runner magazine which is reproduced below. |
